Waypower is a problem-solving approach. When you have waypower, you can think of many different practical ways to reach your goals, even if your efforts are stiffled or blocked.

Like finding a new way to study when you don't have notes.

Finding a way to get unstuck is waypower - and imagining that solution creates hope.

Willpower is more traditional. It's having a commitment to do something that's difficult.

To find hope in a career, you have to network and commit to social situations you don't like.

Willpower comes from blood glucose and glucose available to the brain.

More glucose = more brain resources = more willpower Less glucose = less brain resources = less willpower

If you believe willpower is limited, it'll be limited and you'll feel hopeless after a while. If you believe willpower is unlimited, it'll be unlimited and you'll not feel hopeless that often.

But..... Your beliefs give or take away your willpower
